CPAP and cannibalism.....Breeze fix

Post by Newsgrouper » Thu Aug 04, 2005 5:46 am

The total cannibalism of my Fisher & Paykel Oracle 452 oral mask is near completion. The only remaining part is being used to make the oral device (to stop mouth leak) as described by GoodKnight in an earlier post:

BREEZE FIX:
The other part of my Oracle, the headgear (really a head strap) was used to modiby my Breeze to prevent the slippage that some of us experience with this interface. I simply connect the soft elastic Oracle strap to the Halo straps on each side of the Breeze headgear. I then place the bottom of the new strap uncer my chin and this holds the Breeze headgear in place. No more slipping when turning from side to side.

Wheeeeeewww. I was afraid for a moment that yet another side effect of Apnea that I was unaware of was the urge to eat other humans. I have been surprised at the number of things that can be impacted by sleep deprivation but I am relieved to learn that cannibalism of a different kind is in play here!!
