New Cpap machine help/suggestions

Post by chriml » Mon Nov 10, 2008 2:30 pm

I am looking for a new cpap machine ( A spare). I have the remstar pro 2 with c-flex as of now. I was thinking about getting the travel cpap so when Im not home I can bring it along. Im not sure if I will like those because I saw reviews that they were noisy? I also see it doesn't have the exhale so Im not sure if I could adjust to that. Anyone have a suggestion? Thanks a bunch!

While most consider the Pro2 Classic to be a bit more durable machine it is a bit large to travel with. You might want to consider the Remstar "M" series. I was built as a travel machine but became their mainstay because they stopped making the Classic. If you get the "M" Pro the software and card reader will work with both machines and it does have C-Flex exhale relief. It is compact with the intergrated humidifier and should travel well.

I'm an M Series user. I got to try a "tank" for a week, while I loaned my auto to a friend for a self titration. I think you'll find the M series very compatible. I find it relatively easy to carry when I travel. It's all a hassle, but the machine IS smaller, and the bag is correspondingly smaller.

Cheers,
B.

I currently have a stash of Nasal Aire II cannulas in Small or Extra Small. Please PM me if you would like them. I'm interested in bartering for something strange and wonderful that I don't currently own. Or a Large size NAII cannula. :)
