What does "Auto Appear" in the clinicians menu control?

In the clinical manual's lefthand side menu, go to:

"Data Management - Smart Data in the Patient Menu"

Smart Data in the Patient Menu
A Smart Data feature has been incorporated in the S8 AutoSet II device to
increase patient involvement in their therapy. Display of Smart Data for the
patient to review is at your discretion. Select some or all options for display in the
patient menu from the Smart Data submenu in Clinical Menu, Options (see
Figure 9, Options menu screens, on page 24). The following data can be made
available, showing, for the most recent session:
• the star rating of the 70th centile mask fit
• 95th centile pressure
• total duration of session (usage).
Set the Mask Fit, Pressure or Usage options to ON to enable the patient to see
any or all of this data.
If the Auto Appear option is set to OFF, the data will be displayed in the Results
submenu of the patient menu only. If you (or the patient) set Auto Appear to ON,
the data for the previous session will be displayed after the patient restarts the
device.
Data for the current session are available for display up until noon, when a new
session commences.
Note: If none of the Smart Data options (Mask Fit, Pressure or Usage) has been
set to ON in the clinical menu, the Results submenu is not displayed in the
patient menu.
