Thanks so much to everyone who responded to this question. I now feel so reassured about using regular bottled water when I travel. All of your input has been great to read, and much appreciated.
DeVilbiss IntelliPap Std Plus with Smartflex; Transcend miniCPAP & Everest2 w/humidifier & batt for travel. UltraMirage FFM; PadACheeks; PaPillow. Using straight CPAP at 13.0/passover humidifier. AHI consistently < 1.5. Began CPAP 9/4/08.

I use RO for almost everything at my place. Don't like the taste of the tap water. So it goes in my humidifier as well. Found though that when I travel, bottled water works good if you can get a good kind. The wrong kind and everything just feels dried out. I usually use Dasani when I travel.
