Does the program erase the data on the smart card?

<whew>
I think the sleep clinic would be annoyed if I lost the first weeks data.

As you may have read here elsewhere, the SmartCard has a limit of how many days it can hold, and then begins to drop off the earliest day. So it may be a good idea to save your data every week or so, if you think you'll want it.
DeVilbiss IntelliPap Std Plus with Smartflex; Transcend miniCPAP & Everest2 w/humidifier & batt for travel. UltraMirage FFM; PadACheeks; PaPillow. Using straight CPAP at 13.0/passover humidifier. AHI consistently < 1.5. Began CPAP 9/4/08.

Actually, I haven't read it.
I think it must hold about a months worth, because I have to mail the card to my doc in about 2 weeks now. (3 weeks from commencement of machine.)

It holds more than a months of compliance data, it also holds up to 7 days of useful data, but I'm sure that's not the kind of data they will want. Jim

The number of days (nights) of "detailed" data is based on the number of "sessions". Assuming that there is one session per day (if sleep periods have more than one hour between them it is the beginning of a new session), the number of nights of detailed data would be about seven. As new nights of detailed data are collected, the older ones become "compliance" data and the card should hold more than 300 nights of compliance data.
