How to capture waveform Sandman Auto

Post by pudellvr » Fri Oct 31, 2008 9:26 pm

I have my first nights data. I cant figure out how to capture the waveform graph. It doesn't print on the pdf report. Anyone have suggestions?

Here is my data
APAP+FL
Min pressure : 8.0 cmH2O
Max pressure : 20.0 cmH2O
Ramp latency : 20 min (45 min)
Pressure decrease : fast
Command on Flow Limitation Run : enable
Max pressure for command on Apnea : 14.0 cmH2O
Comfort pressure : 9.5 cmH2O
Pressure
Min. Max. Aver. 1.4 cmH2O 9.5 cmH2O 8.2 cmH2O
Pressure efficient more than 90 % of time : 9.0 cmH2O
Apnea/Hypopnea Index
Number Index/h
AH obs 5 0.6
AH cnt 28 3.2
Detected events
Number Index/h
Apneas : 3 0.3
Apneas/CA : 1 0.1
Hypopneas : 2 0.2
Hypopneas CNT : 27 3.1
Snorings : 5 0.6
Runs : 54 6.1
Leaks
Min. Max. Aver. 1.01 l/s 2.55 l/s 1.27 l/s

I switched masks midway through night and then had more leaks to to mouth flap. I was waking up alot from the beginning until I changed masks. That is also when most of the centrals happened. My sleep study showed 3 centrals for the whole night. Most of the runs happened then as well.
I am thinking that I need to raise the low pressure. What do you all thing

when your leak gets over .8 on that machine you might as well toss out the data seen.

That machine displays leak in Liters per Second, so if you take that 2.55L/s x 60=153L/m, there isn't a mask made that leaks that much. if you take your lowest leak seen of 1.01 and multiply that by 60 seconds, you get 60L/m, still too much leak.

You want to keep your leak rate under .8 or 48L/m maximum.

Using the software: there should be a manual in pdf form in the directory where the software is installed, should be a number for the filename ending in .pdf. While you probably cannot open it where it resides, you can copy it to your desktop or another directory and open it like any PDF file.
