I talked to my DME about APAP vs. CPAP and I could swear she said you couldn't use a humidifier with an APAP. Maybe I misunderstood...wouldn't be the 1st time. Are there any APAPs that use humidifiers?
Thx....Amy

Amy, you can definitely use a humidifier with any autopap. Even if the autopap doesn't have an integrated humidifier you could still use any separate humidifier made for use with cpap connected to the autopap with a short hose.
Puritan Bennett didn't have an integrated humidifier for a long time - they added an integrated humidifier fairly recently. I used a separate Fisher & Paykel HC 150 heated humidifier with my 420E "back then".
