Thank you,

Thank you,

Thank you

Thank you, one and all, for being here, especially the regulars without which the rest of us would be lost.

A quick question.

How do we get the forum to show read and unread topics?

And how can we go to the first unread post in any thread? All the threads show as unread for me. My display does not show the colored icon that I can click on to jump to the first unread post.

This is the third night on my new "M" series APAP. The machine works fine but I am sitting here at three in the morning because the designer of the Fisher and Paykel mask I was given obviously had only a nodding acquaintance with the human face. It leaks and if I pull it tight enough so as to not leak, it hurts my forehead.

The RT at Apria here in San Diego only had one mask with him, put it on me and declared it was a perfect fit. I should have know better because I had already visited this forum.

(How do you think I got a "M" series APAP on the first visit?.. I told my ENT exactly how to word the Rx. I neglected to dictate the mask though. I figured I would try several on and choose one. Silly me. I have an appointment a week from now to visit them again. This time I walk away with a proper mask.)

I have a mild to moderate disorder. I have 23 hypopneas/hour, no apneas. I feel fortunate after reading some of the posts here. But I was shot by mid afternoon every day.

I originally visited the ENT with the idea that I would get "everything" cut out and cure all my problems. Luckily, cooler heads prevailed and I was sent for a sleep study first.

Anyway, thanks again for all your help. I will get the card reader and software and begin my "real" therapy. Right now I have to try to beat this mask into submission and get some sleep.

Now that you have registered the little icon should be there and it should show(when you scroll over it with the mouse) if there are any unread posts for the topic.
Yep, the mask is the hardest part to get right! Keep at it and you will find a mask that works for you. You can also look (search) on the forum for fixes for your particular mask. This may help you tweak a mask from good to near perfect!
Sounds to me like you will do well!
