Does S7 Elite Record Data?

I'm trying to get a machine that will record data for me. I'm finding lots of S7 machines for sale, but because they've been replaced on the retail market by S8, I can't seem to find the specs for them.

Does the S7 Elite record data? If so, what kind? I think I need mask leaks and AHI, at least.

Yes it does - & data is somewhat similar to what the S8 Elite delivers.

Also an S7 is easier to get the data off than an S8 in that a cheap ($10-$15) null modem cable allows downloading the data to a PC that has ResScan or AutoScan software on it.

I do have somewhere, data pulled off an S7 Elite I tried about 2.5 years back. Nice machine. If I can find it I'll put it up on the web & post a link to it - shd help explain what data can be extracted.

Here's info about the S7 Elite and it does say Efficacy Data so you should be good to go w/an S7.

And this is interesting: $150 software upgrade of the S7 Elite to the AutoSet Spirit. I had heard of this being done but this is the first I've seen any info about it.

Adding to Slink's post, just confirming again that the S7 Elite displays compliance data on the LCD but also records nightly data that can be downloaded via serial null-modem cable. As mentioned I have a file with S7 data on it & will post when I get the chance.

Hmmm..., now you're making me think I should rethink this and look for a spirit. I haven't found one of those for less than $150. Maybe I'm not looking in the right places. Ideas?
