Anyone tried CPAP Pro Mask?

Post by Kiralynx » Sun Oct 12, 2008 3:00 pm

Researching masks (what else is new?)

For my titration, I used a Comfort Lite 2, and made it through the study without yanking the mask off in my sleep. I did have to keep waking up to resettle it because it kept slipping on my hair.

http://www.nomask.com/index.cfm has an interesting un-mask, although I'm not sure the nasal pillows would work well for me. I tried on a couple of masks with pillows and they were very painful, twisting my nose out of shape and bending it like a pug's snout.

Nonetheless, I like the idea of a mask with no straps -- and considering that I spent five years with a mouth brace after I got rid of my braces, I could probably adjust to the mouth piece.

Has anyone used this un-mask?

Thank you. I find searching the hundreds of pages of topics on this Forum a bit challenging. It would be nice to have different sections instead of one huge Forum.

Looks like it's definitely either a love or a hate relationship with this particular mask. I admit to being wary of something described as "cheap."

I have a pair of enthusiastic standard longhair dachshunds who are going to have to get used to Missy wearing a Thing on her face. "Fragile" is not where it's at.
