Cleaning the Mirage Activa

Post by frostman » Wed Jun 29, 2005 7:36 am

Wow, after reviewing the CD that came with my activa mask, I realized you might need a college degree and half a day to clean the darn thing. How much do you really need to do?? I am a wipe it off kinda guy, what do the rest of you do, and how often do you clean your hose???/

Hose - well, I hate to admit it - every 2-3 weeks if lucky. Mask - every other day or so - it gets nasty (it hits my upper lip often - and it gets gunky) - so I have to. I totally disassemble it and soak in baby shampoo, and the reassemble it after it air dries - have had no problem at all doing it this way.

So far I've cleaned mine every morning after I've used it.I do have an Ultra Mirage though that is a bit easier to clean and easier to put back together so I tend to wear it more often.I wash my masks in Dawn.
