What does one do about ingesting air?
Sorry for the newbie question - is there somewhere on this website with FAQs like that? I'm trying to get up to speed, but I'm also really impatient! I'm very much still reading these boards, yet I *so* want to get on the road with some decent sleep.
I burp, I get uncomfortable air pockets, my cheeks balloon out suddenly - is this part of the adjustment?

Ah, I see, the answer is "REMStar Auto with CFlex"
I've only been at this since Thursday, starting with a REMStar Plus with CFlex (with the heated humidifier, of course).
I've already asked for the Small mask to be replaced with a Petite mask. Might that make a difference, having a correctly sized mask?
Do I need to give it a week after I get the correct mask?
I'd feel so pushy and discontent to ask for a different machine after already asking for a different mask! Not that I won't... but it sounds like I might need doctor concurrence? Do I call my doctor or my DME?
My setting is 8 cm2 H2O. It sounds like going to 7 might help, if I must keep the REMStar Plus?
I feel like I should scarf a rootbeer upon awakening in order to get some good Girl Scout Camp Burping started...

Does sleeping on one's side help with the air swallowing?
