Works Great! I cut them in half vertically and use the sticky side to stick three pieces (a triangle) to the mask cushions. I trim the excess and I am set for the night. I find that my mask pad lasts 2 or three days before I have to replace it. I do get a little more leakage, but it is VERY quiet, unlike the orchestral suite my mask cushions provide at a pressure of 20. And I find it feels better than the rather clammy cushions. Now if we can just get someone to manufacture them in the correct size and shape.

Wow, I am impressed. How did you come up with that idea to stick PL strips to the FF mask where it contacts the face. I assume you are talking about a full face mask. How are you joining the pieces to form the triangle. I guess any kind of tape would work. I have a resmed FF that makes all those annoying noises which those of us who own them know about so I am going to try this tonight. Thanks for posting..CareS

Yes, I'm using a Mirage Ultra FF mask. I just overlap the strips. The 'stickem' is just enough to keep the strips in place. After the first night they are kind of form fitted and stay in place until I replace them. I do have to trim the top of the triangle over the nose area - any excess sticks out close to the corners of my eyes and can be a little annoying. I suppose a little paper surgical tape would also help the overlap joints. I'll have to try that. As for the idea, The topic that spawned this one had someone who tried it first. I was working with cloth cutouts taped or rubberbanded to the mask before that. But this is a lot easier and certainly cheap enough.
