To start with, I was about half asleep when I posted last night
I saw the machine that the DME supplier has. It is a "ResMed S7" w/humidifier. Doc also prescibed a full-face mask. At the sleep center, they had a "Captiva" mask. What a disaster !! Couldn't breathe through my nose. Tech decided a "full-face" would probably work better. He was right !!! Finally got some sleep. Felt terrible the next day!!! But, I have read that that is the norm.
Doc came in the next day amd prescribed "Flonase", also suggested I get some saline nasal mist. I got these products and the combination of Flonase, saline spray and the AllegraD (that I already have a presciption for) seems to have helped my breathing.
It got a copy of the report and it shows 0 total obstructive apneas, 0 mixed apneas, 0 central apneas, and 82 partial apneas amd a bunch of other things that I can't even begin to decipher.
Now, about the ResMed S7, having done some research on the 'net, it appears that this is an "entry level" machine. Right or wrong ?? If so, I can't blame the insurance company for not renting a "Cadillac" from the the start.
That's about it for now until I think of something else !!!
Thanks for the replies from my first post. I am going to suceed in the "venture" It won't beat me
