hey Graffy.
Wish i had a cure for ya, bud. But i had to deal with the same thing you are. And yes, it's frustrating! But you've gotten some good advice here. I guess the trick is to find the.. well.. trick that works for you.
For me, it was an attitude change. I had to convince myself that i wanted the mask on... that i was going to be better off using it. Then, once i had my first decent night's sleep, it was easier to discipline myself to keep it on all night.
It wasn't easy, but it's getting easier as time goes on. Hang in there!!!

I can't sleep
All the advice given previously is very worthwhile. I've been down the same road and yes, stick with it.
I saw my sleep specialist and described exactly what I was going through and felt I just couldn't handle all that air blasting into me. He wrote up a Rx for a lower setting, which helped tremendously.
If you're using a regular CPAP, the manual should explain how to adjust the ramp. That was the first thing which was explained to me when I received my machine. You don't need a Rx for that. If you're not sure how to do that, try getting in touch with the provider who gave you the machine.
Good luck ~ welcome to the club. We've all traveled this road before. It does take time.
