My wife insists I am still snoring. But my Puritan Bennet APAP says I'm not. Any ideas? I'm really perplexed. I am still way too tired also.
Snoring still!
My advice
Give her Ambien (slip it in her dinner) and buy her a pair of ear plugs.
This may be the easiest CPAP problem yet to be discussed. Of course,
there is always divorce and getting a new wife.
but realistically, you are going to need to buy a tape recorder and
tape yourself during the night to end this conundrum.

It's not my wife who's complaining, it's me!
Really my wife is not complaining. I am just concerned that either my APAP is not working correctly or I'm doing something wrong. Why would I still snore and the APAP not pick it up?
Will it pick up experimental snores you throw at it when you're awake?
Could it be that you're mouth breathing, and that is whay your wife hears?
O.

And now here is my secret, a very simple secret; it is only with the heart that one can see rightly, what is essential is invisible to the eye.

My wife says she sleeps all night now and doesn't hear anything from me. The Encore pro does say I am snoring though. I don't know how it arrives at that. I even stayed awake one night just to see if I was snoring and naturally I wasn't. So I deduct it falsely reports.

I agree about with the concept of snores being falsely reported. If there are any doubts, tape record a night of sleeping.
There are old threads here dealing with many possible contributors to the snore score.

Interesting stuff!! (I'm sure it applies to the PB as well....)

If you're still tired, you're probably mouth breathing and your apap will not record properly as the air flow is going out of your mouth instead of splinting open your airway. All the apap knows is that there is little resistance.
