Since we really don't know your Hx, if you have a card in your machine, I wondered if you could have your doc or dme help you find out what has changed? It could be more than one thing?

To me that would likely be the best way. Charm your dme into reading your card, you are entitled to a copy. That should give you time to see what is going on before you see the doc.

Buying the software & reader is not a bad idea - it will just take time to get it all working. Then learning how to interpret the data. Of course it could be as simple as your press. too low or too high.

Can you begin charting the data from the display?

Good Luck,

ps. Check your Pm's

Re: Weekly leak rate doesn't make sense

I've considered this to be pretty good, based upon the leak rate chart plus an allowable overage. What I don't understand is that the 30 day average on the LCD screen will show, say 32, and the 7 day average will be 1 or 2. Can't make any sense of that, but my AHI's have been pretty good, so I don't worry about it. Any ideas why this is different?
Jasper, the 7-day averages on the Respironics' display have a known bug (confirmed by Respironics). If you unplug the machine and re-plug it in, the 7-day averages will change to be "closer to real numbers", but they told me to trust the 30-day averages more than the 7-day ones...
Not a great answer, but seems to be par for the course for this company... (The SmartCards also often miss recording data 1 or 2 days a week.)

Here's a link to a topic (there are other threads out there addressing this as well) --
