That's what I'd do, too, if I had been prescribed a straight pressure of 16, but was using an autopap in auto-titrating mode.

If I had the EncoreViewer software to see my detailed data results each morning, I'd set the Auto with A-Flex at 9 - 20, Aflex at "3"

If I did not have software, I'd set the machine at 9 - 16, Aflex at "3"

I'm not a doctor -- just a well self-treated autopap tweaker/user.
ResMed S9 VPAP Auto (ASV)
Humidifier: Integrated + Climate Control hose
Mask: Aeiomed Headrest (deconstructed, with homemade straps
3M painters tape over mouth

?? Why a-flex versus c-flex? I don't know the difference between the two.

C-flex provides relief only during exhale.

A-flex provied reflief at the begining of in-hale as well.

Ok... Sort of a mini-ramp to taking the breath so that you don't get that ram-air feeling when you start a breath.

I'm getting a ram-air hood for my trailblazer but I don't need the same effect on my lungs. I just want to sleep...
