I heard windex works great on your elbows...

[edit: joking here!]

What does it do for your elbows? It couldn't be a moisturizer. I know the movie, "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" the Greek father used it for zits. I don't think ammonia is good for your skin.

WD40 sprayed on arthritic joints relieves pain also.

The groom at the end refers to how he used windex on his elbow. Heck if I know what it does.

As to using vaporub on feet for a cough - I'd heard it really works, though I have not tried it. I doubt it would be a good antifungal agent.

LOL....

Not only am I ADDICTED to Menthol, I kind like the smell of cow manure!

You can take the girl out of Oklahoma, but you can't take the Okie out of the girl!

I've recently broken my Mentholatum addiction, however. I've used that Mentholatum lip balm for about 25 years, and recently switched to Trader Joe's brand non-petroleum mint flavored balm. I've noticed far fewer incidences of chapped lips, which I would STILL get despite using it religiously 20 times a day or more.

Cow manure isn't bad at all. I even don't mind the low-tide smell. And Skunks just smell like home to me.

But don't get me anywhere near a Mall or those HEINOUS synthetic "designer" perfumes or I'll start up a nasty puking migraine!!!

Thanks for the tip on the Vicks on the feet. I think I'll try this. Maybe even on Dad, who has a bad cough that's bugging him and Mom.

LOL,
Babs

I currently have a stash of Nasal Aire II cannulas in Small or Extra Small. Please PM me if you would like them. I'm interested in bartering for something strange and wonderful that I don't currently own. Or a Large size NAII cannula. :)

Back east, we have heard the cowboys working on the range in the winter use cow manure for lip balm. It prevents chapped lips by preventing licking of the lips.

Sometimes we go west and put on cowboy boots. The cowboys say they might have cow shit on the outside of their boots but we have it on the inside.
