snoregirl... thanks for the advice.

My insurance this year: I have $1100 left on the deductable and then insurance pays 90%. However, the two sleep studys will cost much more than the deductable (~$2600 allowed by insurance), therefore, I will only pay 10% of cost of machine & associated equipment. This is the reason that I pushed to get all this done and machine ordered this year.

Next year, my deductable is $3000 and then insurance pays 100%. Slightly different plan.

So that's the scoop on my insurance......

That is good if your insurance pays for the machine outright, but if you have to do a 3 month rental, you will be stuck in Jan for another deductable, which from the numbers you post is the total cost of the machine.

Read the fine print carefully and get the total cost laid out before you walk off with anything.
