Reformatting Encore pro cards

Post by BrianT » Mon Nov 26, 2007 1:07 pm

Hi,
I have been using my Respironics Bi-Pap for a month and a half and have been printing my daily reports to track progress (have not been able to figure out how to save the data on my computer), however, for the past two days there has been no data to print.
When I called Respironics they told me that most likely my card needed to be reformatted and that I would have to call my DME to do that. Good luck! I have had no luck getting a response from my DME and was wondering if it is possible for me to use my computers disc utility with the card reader for the Encore Reader Software to reformat myself, as I would to reformat a compact flash disc?
Also I know there is a way to save the data to my computer but I am just short of knowing how this can be done. Can anyone point me in the right direction ?
Thanks for any help,
Brian

It's a well-known problem (over a year) that the M Series machines drop 2 nights of data periodically.....some do it weekly.
It'll start recording again tonight if it's already dropped 2 nights. It still records the compliance information, but just doesn't show the details.
