Going to a nutritionist was also part of the ins. qualifications. that or weight watchers. I think the surgery will help me. I'm Native American, we are predispositioned to Diabetes and weight gain. I'm newly diagnosed w/ sleep apnea. I do not think I had it long, but really who knows. It could help. alot of the drs and websites say their is a link to some types of sleep apnea. I could get lucky.
I know the weight loss will help the Diabetes. I don't want to lose my feet due to Diabetic Complications. I have bigger things to consider than just sleep.
Alot of the insurances are covering weight loss surgeries. I'd call your ins. and find out if you have the benefit and the qualifications that they will cover it. I will have a $1000. deductible. Small price to pay to keep my feet. I'm too young to have all of these health issues, and they will only get worse if I don't lose the weight. Which insurance do you have? I know BCBS cover it.
I've been seeing a nutritionist and exercising when *blamo* I got the sleep apnea. and could not function for months!!! This has been just horrible. My whole life has changed. I had to reduce my class load because I can retain the information. I come home from work and lay on the couch. My volunteering is suffering because I'm too tired to do anything. This is not me at all.

WAAHHHH!!! I'm so tired.
