Been on CPAP for 3 weeks now, using a REMstar Pro2 with C-flex set at 11cm, as prescribed by my primary care physician. I finally saw the pulmonary/sleep specialist today for the first time, he wants my machine bumped up to a setting of 13. I would like to do this myself, rather than travel 45 mins. each way to the DME supplier for a 2 minute adjustment process. Can anyone here point me in the right direction with instructions so I can do this myself??
I must say a big thank you to everyone here in helping educate me in the world of CPAP. The whole process started for me in January, and I finally got the equipment 3 weeks ago and have had much luck so far with it. The specialist was impressed with the knowledge that I've gained by reading these message boards, and that I could speak intelligently in regard to sleep apnea/cpap equipment. I told him that this board has been and will continue to be a great help to me, he said that he will pass the info on to his patients. He is a big fan of the c-flex technology and said that he perscribes it to all of his patients. I like him more than my PCP, and for that matter, pretty much any other doctor I've had to see in my entire life
Thanks in Advance & Keep on Sleepin' on!

Question:How to change pressure on REMstar pro2/Cflex?
I have a remstar pro with c-flex. I bought the Oracle mask to try. My setting is 15 which is just too high for the oracle. How do I change my pressure setting? I need to experiment to find the right setting for the oracle. My full face mask leaks so bad I have marks on my face from it being too tight. I know you guys say try out different masks till you find the right one but they cost money to keep trying. I think id like the Oracle but my pressure is too high. Please help.!

I think Fisher & Paykel (the designers of the Oracle) recommend that people can use a few cm H20 less pressure with the Oracle and still get the same treatment as with their titrated pressure using other types of masks. I'll try to find a link to that information. I remember reading it in an interview "somewhere" with an F&P representative when the original Oracle was introduced.
