Lost my voice

This is my first post. I started using my cpap machine April 2006. At first it was strange but I took to it very well. I use a full face mask with a humidifier. A few weeks agoI had a cold and after a few day lost my voice. I went to the DR.and he rold me to whisper and take medication. All of a sudden now my face is breaking out and I don't know what to do to remedy this condition.

You're not supposed to 'know' what to do alone - tell your MD about the reaction you're having (it's probably to the meds he prescribed and he will maybe switch you to another kind). I wouldn't continue to take the old one myself once you've had that break-out.
