After one month of CPAP I finally can claim success. I am able to go the whole night with my mask on with relatively no discomfort (liberty) and I finally had a night with 0 AHI. Thanks to this site and all their suggestions (not to the doctor or DME), I was able to monitor my progress via software and adjust my pressure (myself) to get the AHI level down.
Thanks again to everyone on this site who provided directly or indirectly (past posts) to my ability to make it through this difficult process. Still not perfect and will probably continue to struggle to keep the AHI level down, but I know it is possible.

Congratulations on sticking it out! Yes, you will probably still have ups and downs but now you know how much better you can feel (and it could improve even more). That will make it easier to get past any other hurdles.
