mask to blame?

Post by lifeartist59 » Mon Nov 12, 2007 4:47 pm

I have been trying to adjust to my machine for about six months now. I was almost ready to give up, but wondered about the mask and if a different one would be the solution. I read other posts here, and thought it might be the answer. My hubby called the DME and they said my insurance would allow it, so I explained what was happening and the problems. I got a new mask and was able to add two hours the to my usual hours of usage the first night. I think I may be able to handle it now. Thanks to all of you who post your experiences, it really helps!

WTG! The mask is so very important to this therapy. I've gone through a couple myself looking for one that works for me.

The mask is the hardest part to get right! Once you get the right mask, the rest comes more easily! Hopefully someone else who is thinking about giving up will read your post and give it another try.
