HOORAY!
Just got the call that my insurance’s denial of my Auto PAP request has been overturned on appeal! I will be receiving a Remstar Auto w/ C-flex soon!
Hopefully this new machine will be more effective in treating me without the aerophagia that has plagued me with straight CPAP. Plus, I will now get to actively monitor my treatment!
For background on my ins. fight go to : http://cpaptalk.com/viewtopic.php?t=225 ... aerophagia
Thanks to everybody for the help and support that I’ve received here!

Hello-
I've been denied twice by my new insurance company (as of 1/05)
Both the doctor at sleep center and my neuro-oncologist both wrote letters.
If I had study done before the first of the year, my old insurance would have covered the machine 100%!! I am so mad. So I broke down and I am renting one for a month to see how it works. If the smart card shows improvement I will purchase one. What is scary about my insurance is that I work for a hospital!!! Well congrats on your victory!!
