Need help with Avartar

Post by Yawning in OK » Wed May 18, 2005 10:30 am

I found an animated gif I want to use as an avatar, but it is too big. I thought someone had posted a message on how to reduce the images, but I can't seem to find it. I found a websight that would do it for free, but in order to get it small enough, I had to buy their software. Can anyone help me with this?

give this a try. Lots of discussion on avatars, posting them, size, etc.

Hope it helps.

Y in OK,

In some cases you may not be able to get it small enough and still have it look like anything. I've tried with several large animated GIFs and ended up with a few dots dancing around the GIF.
Sincerely,

I'm not having much luck. I may just have to find a different gif. I'll keep looking, though.

Thanks
