Poligrip report

Post by Sleepdeprived » Wed Oct 03, 2007 2:53 pm

As an alternative to mouth taping I tried Poligrip strips.

The good news

my results were comparable to when I would mouth tape

Using poligrip strips is more comfortable than mouth taping

removing the strip is an easier task than removing mouth tape

Also I would imagine emergency removal would be superior with
the strips

At this point I see no real downside

Certainly it appears the strips are deserving of continued testing

So before giving up on nasal interfaces you may want to considered

using poligrip strips especially if you have an interface you are otherwise

fond of

That's good to know. I use a full face mask. I got the sinus rinse today at Walmart and if it unclogs my nose then I could use a nasal mask again.
