0 AHI

Post by wabmorgan » Sat Sep 29, 2007 11:08 pm

I downloaded the data from the smart card today.... it reports AHI O for 9/27/2007!!!!!!!!!!:)

But then it shows a AHI of 2.8 for 9/28

Not that that is bad... but I wish I knew what made the diffferance????

If you had had a camera that could see in the dark. you would have got a picture of a line of Ducks, all marching lockstep in a row. The readon it doesn't happen often, usually Goober Duck makes the parade, and the others get out of step. Jim

I'm still trying for a AHI of minus one, That's when the ducks are all in step, but they march backward.

Don't we all!

Our "stars must have been aligned" (or our "ducks were in a row")......I had a 0.0 last night.

Hang in there......you'll have more.

That's it... enough... I'm giving my ducks more marching practice.

The lowest I've had is just since switching to the BIPAP-Auto /wBIFLEX on 2007-09-28. I had an AHI of 0.4, with oximeter results that were amazingly steady between 90% to 96%.

I suppose one or two of the ducks must have been still wearing their tap-dance shoes instead of their Ninja-quiet marching boots.

zero AHI

Post by Catnapper » Sun Sep 30, 2007 3:12 pm

It was quite a thrill for me the first time my data showed a zero AHI. As a matter of fact, I still get a charge when I see it again.

Good for you. Enjoy it. You will soon be seeing them more often, and then maybe even frequently!! Do you feel better? That is the other half of the equation. I hope that is happening also.

Congratulations!!

Feel better..... YES..... but I still have a problem with insomnia on occasion and sometimes drowsiness when I get first get up. (I think that may be realted to the insomnia.)

Things were so BAD before I got on CPAP that I would feel like I was going to feel asleep in the shower!!!!! I would awake with leg craps at times. And I had almost even fallen asleep at the wheel, never really did... but it sure came close a few times.

I think knowing your numbers are IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations!!!!

I might have had a 0.0 but my Encore Pro desided to go on vacation AGAIN so I can't say for sure.

Encore Pro's not what goes on vacation, It's the "M"agic that gets tired and rests. Jim

Leg cramps are bad enough, but to awake with leg craps that could get kinda' messy.

Just poking a little fun, but congrats on the great numbers!

I couldn't help it.... I don't have a "M" series..... ha ha....

Bad news is.... I had those leg cramps on and off for years before be dianosed with OSA.

On CPAP, I don't think I've had them even once since being on CPAP.

Also, Mr Happy is a LOT HAPPIER than he use to be;D

Notice any significant difference in how you felt during the day from any other day...other than the natural high from getting a zero AHI?

Today was 1.7:) I did notice most of the AHI are in the 6 and 7 range.... so I think I might be better to raise my min to 7.5.
