Post by Rich03079 » Fri Sep 14, 2007 6:32 pm

First night 1st with my CPAP !!!!! My CPAP was delivered today. So happy because when I went for my 2nd sleep test it was with CPAP mask, and that was my most restful sleep in years !!!!! I look forward to sleep tonight, but afraid of first night, and looking foward to it...so very confused by all of this tonight...? I will write on my experiance real soon.......?

Yes, I remember I couldn't wait to go to bed and soak up that good rest. Now that I've been doing it for a while, I stay up later than I was then. I just wanted to sleep and sleep. Not that I always could because of glitches here and there, but overall I was just so happy and grateful.

Congratulations and welcome!

But I did enjoyed my sleep that I wish to go to sleep now!!!! But I am too rested to go to sleep, but want to sleep??????? Strange but good sleep is cool!!!!! Tonigh I will make adjustments to my straps so its fits better, because I did feel minor leak at times??? I have to learn how to adjust my nose adjustment better Rich03079

Welcome to the forum. Don't get too carried away w/your mask adjustments and tighten it too much like most of us tend to do at first to eliminate leaks.

Click on the big yellow light bulb near the top of this page. There is a link to the subject of mask fitting w/some tips on eliminating those minor leaks.

Delighted to read you enjoyed your sleep last night!! May tonight be even better!

I'm glad to hear that you had a good night! I found it unusual to feel rested at first. I've probably had this all my life, so rested was not normal.
