Encore Pro accessory tool for Windows

This is off-topic but may be of interest to some people who want to straight-line on PAP machine software charts on their monitor. It is surely great for many other purposes, especially if you do any kind of graphics work.

Cooler Ruler is a small, freebie program that has been around for many years. I have used it since 1998 on every computer.

It is a useful on-screen ruler that is extremely versatile. Among many other functions, it allows one to have an infinitely moveable straight line on the monitor in order to read chart points.

Two or more rulers can be onscreen at a time, each independent of the other in all parameters.

Orientation can be changed in a flash from horizontal to vertical and back. The physical length of each ruler can be changed by dragging the end.

It measures in inches, centimeters, pixels and has provision for custom measurements. Scaling can also be changed between 100, 75, 50 and 25-percent, or you can choose a custom scaling factor.

Multiple, erasable set marks can be placed anywhere along each ruler, and you can choose the set mark color.

Yes, it works without problem on Windows XP Pro and Home. I’m not sure if it is Windows Vista compatible, but I would bet that it is.

The download is 886kb.

Bert, I'm not sure. I haven't messed with a MAC since 1997. Though, If I come across one I'll post that too.
