Autospirit progamming/tweaking questions

Post by MeToo » Thu May 05, 2005 6:32 pm

The PB 420e has sensitivity settings and I wonder if 2 Autospirit set-up options might provide similar flexibility:

Does the 3m hose option (vs 2m) make the machine more responsive/sensitive or does it simply increase the general airflow?

Mask selection -- I use the Activa, for which there's no setting. I guess "ultra" is the appropriate choice? Also, same as above, does this setting relate to sensitivity or general airflow?

Greetings Metoo,

There aren't the tweaks for the Spirit that there are on the 420E.

The tube length can make a difference in a download reading, but most likely not in therapy.

The correct mask setting for the Activa is STANDARD mask.

Good Sleep,

Check the manual

If you check the manual that should have been included with your Activa, you will find a notation telling you which setting to select on the Spirit. If you can't find your manual, send me a message and I will drag out my manual. (I don't use a Spirit).
