I'm using a Respironics M Series BIPAP Auto with BiFlex w/ Respironics M Series Heated Humidifier with a Fisher & Paykel HC406 Petite Nasal Mask set to IPAP=20 and EPAP=16
These are suppose to be 7 day averages
Day 1: AHI=58.0...........L/min=50.0
Day 2: AHI=53.3...........L/min=31.6
Day 3: AHI=48.6...........L/min=29.5...........30 Day Average L/min=50.2
Are these numbers looking right? I had been told that my AHI=8 in the sleep lab with the IPAP=20 and EPAP=16. Can the leak rates be interfering with the AHI recording? And anyone know why the 30 day Average L/min is different from the 7 day Average?
Also I got a call yesterday seems they've finished reading my study but didn't give me any details of it (I called back later and asked the Pulmonary Advice Nurse to send me a copy of the results, which she is going to do. Feel bit evil going behind the docs back... ) Anyway the Dr. said they wanted to change my IPAP=22 and EPAP=17 I think though it might of been EPAP=18 (Was a bit tired and having a hard time hearing over my Cell phone) and would make sense if they wanted to keep the difference of 4. They also want me to use one of those Oxygen meter things at home I believe till my next sleep study which she said she had ordered and I'm suppose to be called sometime by them. Gawd I hate waiting though they are so slow, and I'd rather have things taken care of.
As of compliance... Well I could almost say 100% but now this morning I woke up with my mask pulled off, and the machine off, which if I understood the tech right is normal if the mask is removed since they turned auto off on. Anyway I don't think it was off long since I had only been going to get 4 hours sleep before I had to get up anyway, and If I remember what the machine said I had total use of yesterday I got over 3 hours with the mask on before it was pulled off. If only I had the software and card reader already... I so want to know how long it really was for sure. So I don't know if I pulled it off, if it sort of slipped off (the F & P HC406 has this strange plastic hook I never take it off or on that way but the right side was off it's hook and I suppose it could of came loose with my moving around since I always seem to slip down towards the foot of the bed) or if the dog caused it (Since my husband secretly took him out of his kennel and brought him to bed after I insisted he not sleep with us anymore for the safety of me and my machine), and if I did pull it off why... Was it because I didn't feel I was getting enough air or because of a claustrophobic attack I don't remember or is it just one of those incidents that allot of other new hoseheads go through? I could totally understand if it was because I felt like I wasn't getting enough Air because of two things my sinuses have been all clogged up, and I've been having to take Cold and Allergy medication just so I could put the nasal mask on, and two when it was on when I was falling asleep I felt like I wasn't getting enough air then. Anyway I am really curious to know what the cause was, but I guess I'll never really know. I may ask for a FF mask when I go in to get my machines pressures adjusted since I've been having so much problems with my sinuses. Anyway After I got my shower and saw my husband off to work, I went back to bed for another 3 hours and didn't have any problems other than still feeling like I wasn't getting enough air.

You have a lot of good info here and there are others on the forum better at responding to most of your questions than I. However, I will say that your numbers seem way too high. My AHI is over 50 without treatment and I was told it puts me in the severe category and that I needed xPAP treatment as soon as possible. It would seem that if you are getting those numbers with treatment, something is not right.
What is your leakage percentage? If your mask is leaking too much, then it isn't sealing which doesn't allow pressurized air to stop an apnea event.
I was also told that xPAP treatment should result in an average AHI under 5. When beginning treatment I was averaging 5 and now get 1.x regularly. It took finding the right mask for me.
Even the right mask for me (Mirage Vista) doesn't work all the time. Sometimes my nose gets stuffy from allergies or even from using a nasal mask. Then I use my FF mask which is a Quattro.
I used the Quattro on the 15th, 16th, and last night this month. My numbers are not as good on this mask as I have a high leakage rate (see below).
Good luck! Let us know how it goes.
