Tear duct issue solved by Oracle, now dry mouth problem.

Post by zimmer62 » Mon Aug 27, 2007 1:06 pm

It seems there arn't that many people who have air force out of their tear ducts, but I know there are a few.

The Oracle mask, solved my tear duct issue. I tried it one night with the noseplugs, and that still allowed for air out the tear ducts, however without the noseplug I have learned to keep that area in the back closed, so I don't need them. This actually worked.

The main problem I see with the oracle, is having a really dry mouth, dry enough to wake me up. I havn't tried adding a humidifier to my room yet, but if anyone has any suggestions about secondary humidity that would great.

Do a search on this forum to see what others have tried in the past. I did a search and found many responses. One was a person who said drinking water before bed helped (I think it sounds like a bathroom trip in the middle of the night : )

I also found Biotene Oral Balance on Amazon. I don't know if this would work for your application but may be worth trying.
