Respironics BIPAP AUTO-M Manual

Post by Dr_P » Fri Aug 17, 2007 3:37 pm

Respironics makes a great machine with the BIPAP AUTO-M with Bi-Flex -- it is undoubtedly the best breather on the market, but Respironics customer service is a pain in the neck when it comes to gaining access to the clinical or service provider manual. It seems companies these days and all their lawyers make it difficult to access anything anymore out of concern "for your protection" -- HOGWASH!! Talk about BIG BROTHER!! Between the government and lawyers, citizens have few freedoms today. Similarly, getting help from your home health care provider may prove difficult too. Accordingly, although it can be a challenge with regard to insurance coverage, I recommend obtaining your machine and supplies via https://www.cpap.com. (I should state for the record at this time, I DO NOT have a financial interest in either company.) By my experience, CPAP.COM does a wonderful job and has very competitive prices. (Even if not coverd by your insurance, I have found their prices to be competitive with the co-insurance/Co-pay portion owed to providers like Blue-Cross-Blue-Shield.) Regardless, if you find yourself needing access to more than the user-manual provides, email me at FIN3244@aol.com (with "BIPAP" as the subject) and I will be happy to forward you the clinical/service provider manual in PDF form.

Best Wishes for a Better Night's Sleep!
