This was my first night wearing the mask connected to the CPAP machine and I have accepted it a lot better than I thought I would. It wasn't uncomfortable and after a few minutes I was actually enjoying the air flow as my breathing was improving by the second, I didn't realize how restricted it was before and hence the snoring stopped. I'm still convinced I don't really snore but I am reasured by my wife who appears the real sufferer. This is the best nights sleep I have had in years and the start of a new era. Many thanks to my wife and Dr. Polkey at the Brompton Hospital London for diagnosing and hopefully curing the problem.
Adapting to CPAP machine
Congratulations, MJC, on enjoying a good night's sleep w/your new CPAP and mask friends. And welcome to the forum.
Don't get discourage if every night at first isn't as restful as this first night. Sometimes there is an adjustment period of ups and downs w/good nights and not so good nights. You'll almost always find the answers to why from this forum.
