Wow, who would have thought?
I've been on the hose for two months now, and I've had a really bad ear infection, in BOTH ears, for the last three weeks. I'm on my second round of antibiotics now.

I also have a lot of sinus damage from an accident back in my teen years.

I'll try turning off the humidifier and see what happens.

Will be interesting to see,

Yes, turn your humidifier down or OFF.

I even had to lower my pressure. It seemed the higher pressure forced the eustachian tubes in the ear canal to open up -- thereby allowing fluid in my ears and causing pressure (like flying).

Let us know your status.

I haven't had water in my ears from the humidifier on my cpap, but I used to have terrible problems with water staying in my ear from showering. I hadmany ear infections and was miserable. The doc said it was like swimmr's ear. I used the OTC "Swimmer's Ear" and got it under control. It has alcohol in it. I got tired of buying the OTC stuff and just started swabbing the inside of my ears with the alcohol. I never had an ear infection again after that. I still do it. I have been for at least 12 years. I have had no problems from doing it.
