Hi,
Finally my machine - a REMstar Plus C-FLEX - arrived. The guy from the health care provider was excellent in explaining everything about the machine, and I get to try it for a month before paying for it! I ended up deciding on a Fisher & Paykel FlexiFit HC407 nasal mask; it seem the quitest and the most comfortable.
Now all I have to do is fall asleep with this Darth Vader contraption on my beezer!

Machine arrived today!

Congratulations! I too got mine today also. I had a loaner for the last month and now I have my very own. It's a Fisher & Paykel HC221LE and a Simplicity Mask. I can't wait to get to bed tonight to try it all out! I am now officially my very own "hose head".

Contrats!
Here in Canada, the correct term for "hose head" is "hoser"!

It's a well known fact that cold air is denser than warm air. Perhaps that's what's causing our obstructions? LOL!LDuyer wrote:Spiritus and Idemmery,
What is this? Seems I've seen quite a few Canadians on this site. Could it be something in the "air" up there adding to your apnea? (Just kidding) I think it's great. I enjoy reading your posts.
Sincerely,
Linda
Anyhow, I'm off to bed and looking forward to a good night's sleep courtesy of Darth Vader.
