I am a hypocrite. The most I can get my two to sleep is eight hours per night. Weekends they might get 12 hours each night. Thomas Edison pushed society beyond our evolutionary stage.

Last fall, Duke University announced that no classes would begin before 9:00 a.m. in order to accommodate the circadian cycle of the youthful students. Having once taught 8:00 a.m. classes, I am all for this.
