Hi -- Is C-Flex generally the best way to go ? Am just starting out with Cpap -- pressure setting is 6 -- but have found a bit of a bother with exhalation -- have a lung problem -- used the nasal pillow so far.
Used the Remstar Plus and appreciated the quiet -- Does anyone find the C-Flex pressure changing for exhalation increases the noise level ?
Thanks for this forum -- whomever is on the other end of these keys ! !
Is C-Flex usually the better choice and as quiet ?

Thanks Rested Gal -- The machine used in the sleep study was a large, older, plain CPAP and loud, not just "not quiet" -- similar say to hearing a lawnmower just outside your bedroom window ! -- would you estimate the C-Flex to be as loud as that ?
I may have to trade off the quiet for the comfort ..... Thanks again....

I'm on the low pressure side of things when using "fixed" cpap (8), and although I have sarcoidosis, I didn't have problems exhaling or was able to cope pretty easily. I'm very sensitive to noise, and found the CFlex was driving me nuts, so I had my DME turn it off. If the noise bothers you more than exhaling against the pressure, it is an option to have it disabled. The noise probably doesn't bug normal people, one of which I am not.
The noise is in the ear of the behearer, RG? Good one!
The sting is in the hand of the bee holder, too.
