I started wondering about the pillow situation, and guess what! The mask they sent me is NOT an Opus, it is an Infinity 481. Not sure yet what the difference is, but the pillows is one sure difference. See this website, which shows both: http://www.fphcare.com/osa/Opus.asp
Sorry for the confusion. I'm about to call my DME and find out what's up! Grrrrr.

Well that would explain a lot about why they looked like prongs ... the picture comaprison you showed earlier is for anatomically shaped nasal seals while the Opus actually uses anatomically shaped nasal pillows.svh wrote:I started wondering about the pillow situation, and guess what! Grrrrrr ... I hope you are able to straighten those DME folks and set em right!
Good luck! ... and I'll look forward to your next review
President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.
Well, I've just talked to them and this is the situation: The Opus is still on backorder, so the guy at the warehouse sent me the Infinity 481 (why, one might ask, but nobody seems to know). The DME said that since I've used it, they can't take it back, but that when the Opus actually does come in they will send it to me and only charge me for one mask (no doubt whichever one is more expensive). OK, I guess that's the best they can do. They admitted it was completely their error, and that I would not have to pay twice.
Now I wait. And she doesn't know how long. Very irritating!

You might see if they will put that in writing so you'll have something when you go back in to pick it up or when the bill arrives.

Don't let them get away with that. You ordered an Opus; that is what you should be billed for.The DME said that since I've used it, they can't take it back, but that when the Opus actually does come in they will send it to me and only charge me for one mask (no doubt whichever one is more expensive).
