Up for sale is an open-box ResMed AirCurve 10 VAuto Bipap machine. This unit belonged to my aunt who passed away and was recently found safely preserved in storage.

While I don’t know it’s history prior to storage, the machine’s internal system verifies 0:00 machine run hours on the blower motor. It has never been used for patient therapy and is functionally brand new. The unit powers on perfectly, the dial screen works flawlessly.

From what I have been told the AirCurve 10 VAuto is a premium, auto adjusting bilevel device designed to automatically adjust pressure levels to fit therapy needs night by night.

That 0:00 run hours is for the previous day, not overall. While I do expect the machine hasn’t seen much usage, you probably should go to the correct screen to verify it. Press in the knob and that home button (under the screen) simultaneously for a few seconds to access the clinical screen/settings, then scroll down to “About” (I think, hoping someone here who’s been in that menu on that machine more recently than I have) and you should find the overall run hours on the machine.

No offense intended, but the pics you provided obviously don't reflect a machine in new/unused condition.

I also suggest you refrain from using terms like "functionally brand new", "never been used for patient therapy", "powers on perfectly" and other such marketing puffery when, by your own admission, "I don’t know it’s history prior to storage." <shrugs>

Regardless of actual run hours, it would also be helpful for you to verify and guarantee in advance that the machine comes from a smoke-free, perfume-free, pet-free, and otherwise smell-free in general environment.
