Airsense 10 suddenly shut down

Get yourself a battery that can run in Pass-through mode so you're always feeding your machine DC from a DC source and not converting AC to DC. If the power goes out, you won't even wake up. I use an EasyLonger ES960 Pro, which I also use when I'm camping. I just got 5 nights on my Airsense 11 AutoSet (no heat/humidity, average pressure 13.25 cmH₂O) on a single charge.

Edit: the ES960 comes with cables for a variety of CPAP machines: Philips Dreamstation and Dreamstation 2, Resmed S9, A10, A11, and AirMini.

Unless this battery can go between the power brick and the CPAP, and I don't know how it could do that, it would do nothing to stop the consequences of the power brick shutting itself off.

The whole point of a UPS is "uninterruptible" power so I should already have that. Didn't help.

Maybe I don't understand what you are saying.

You connect the battery directly to the CPAP machine with the included cable. You're skipping the AC→DC conversion step entirely and don't use the power brick at all. Since that seems to be the point of failure you're encountering, I'm showing you a way to prevent that from happening again.

Ah I see, a custom made product for CPAPs complete with cables. Very interesting. Most times I hear discussion of batteries it is about plugging the brick into the battery. I have a Jackery for this purpose, will last a week (we have hurricanes here).

At $300 the next question is can you leave it plugged in 24/7/365 and how many years does it last, and how reliable is it compared to the brick. Most batteries aren't meant for continuous charging, UPS's are but still only last a few years.

The ES960 is designed to be plugged in full time; it won't overcharge.

Easylonger also sells a Solar Panel that recharges the ES960 in 4-5 hours so if you're experiencing an extended power failure, or on a long camping trip, you don't have to worry about not having your CPAP.
