I don't need a mask swap, but I DO desperately need flexible tubing. My new BiPAP has none:download/file.php?mode=view&id=20424
What is the tubing used on the AirFit P10 nose pillow frame? If I hold the filter end up and wiggle it, the tubing flexes like a string. All the promo pictures show it mounted, and the tubing hanging down at about a 45° angle from the mask, an indicator of its flexibility.
Unfortunately, I can't say the same for the connecting tubing from the machine to the P10.
It resembles a stick more than a string. My first machine (an airsense "10," - with a separate water bin - see below pic) came with the same sort of connecting tubing. My bad, my son had just got his "11" and offered me the unheated tubing. As I'd not yet discovered how to deal with mold, I accepted it and tossed my old tube - which was, as closely as I can imagine, the same material as the Air Fit P10 tubing. I've regretted at leisure (more than 2 years) that swap, for many reasons, all having to do with flexibility.
I need that sort of tubing between the machine and the mask connecting hose...
How do I get one of my prior type connecting tubes, or fabricate my own using some other non-squashable but flexible tubing (I need a spec to find it to adapt my current takes-a-set-when-shaped and is stiff tubing's attachment ends)?
Breathlessly awaiting direction...
