Imgur.com. Recent bad reviews?

Post by bran » Tue Mar 10, 2026 1:09 pm

Going over original suggestions and I note Pugsy uses them, so I thought I would download until I read this?

Anyone else have issues or moved forward with better and easier software for posting images? Thx.

I've been using them for 10 years. I've not found them difficult to use. I just glimpsed the reviews and it seems people are using it in a different way than *I* do. I use it to post images here. only trouble across my 10 years is they seem to want me log in every now and then. a minor annoyance.

Not sure what the problem is.
  • Free account
  • Use a throwaway account
  • Use a throwaway email
  • Don't post any identifying pics
What's your concern?

thanks for this. i'm assuming this is in the "new" version they were touting a year or so ago? I can't tell for sure because I now just go straight to my images to either ul or dl.

anyway, what you posted looks very straightforward.

I have no idea... I've been using imgur for 2-3 years, and have never used it differently.
