Flow Limitation Fixed… But Sleep Fragmentation Is Wrecking Me...Need Advice!

Post by bebers21 » Fri Dec 19, 2025 10:52 am

Hi everyone,

I’m hoping to get some insights from the community because I’m struggling with sleep fragmentation that’s sabotaging my sleep quality.
Here’s the background:

I was originally titrated at CPAP 6 cmH₂O.
Recently, I’ve been experimenting to reduce flow limitation, and EPR 3 has largely solved that issue.
However, despite better breathing, my Oura data shows significant sleep fragmentation, and I’m waking up feeling unrefreshed.

I’ve uploaded a night of my data to SleepHQ for review:

What changes would you recommend to help reduce fragmentation? Should I tweak pressure settings, EPR, or something else? Any insights or similar experiences would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance for your help!

Do you take any medications of any kind? If so, what?

Hey Pugsy, I do not take any medications. I occasionally will supplement with melatonin (have recently tried time release) and take magnesium glycinate and L-theanine nightly, but nothing outside of that.

sleep fragmentation
How many per night?

Generally speaking, having between 10-18 awakenings per night, averaging 90+ mins awake each night.
