Air sense 11 intake filters

Post by Vinny V » Tue Dec 09, 2025 3:35 pm

My new equipment supplier takes forever to send me supplies I routinely run out of filters and use them slot longer then I should ending up with little white fibers floating in my humidifier water in the morning.
Then I go weeks not using while I wait for them to finally get me filters. The doctor is no help

Are so called after market filters ok to use while I wait for them to send out the "real ones"

Thanks

my answer is same as pugsy. have used aftermarket filters for years. you can find them bulk at Amazon.

and thanks for bringing it up. haven't checked my filter in a while.

When I use cheap aftermarket filters (which is usually), I am more likely to change them regularly.

Oh, and zonker, please don't forget to check your filter.

No matter what, a 'real' filter or aftermarket, no filter should EVER degrade enough that it sheds 'white fibers' into your water reservoir. Something is wrong if your filters are doing this.

How long are you using these filters for?

I'm using bulk filters from Amazon, and I change the filter once per month. My insurance will pay for the 'real' filters, but these aftermarkets are just fine. Besides, even after my insurance pays for their share, they cost me more than the aftermarkets.

These are the filters that I'm using currently. No longer available but you get the idea.
