I am 40 years old with a BMI of 31. I’ve been using an AirSense 10 for a month, and I experience central sleep apnea almost every night, regardless of the mask I try (N20, N30i, etc.). I’d like to know:
Are these central apneas real, or are they induced by the CPAP therapy?
If CPAP-related, are there better parameter adjustments you’d recommend?
If they’re intrinsic to my body, how can I verify this? Should I consult a cardiologist or neurologist?
Are there others with similar experiences? I’d greatly appreciate hearing your stories and advice. Thank you so much!

They are an indication that your sleep continuity totally sucks.
