CPAP Data Review Request - Continuously waking up after a few hours

Post by thirty6chambers » Sat Sep 27, 2025 10:01 am

I typically feel fine falling asleep with the mask on; however, for some reason, I tend to wake up within 3-5 hours -- from that point, I either rip the mask off or go back to sleep with the mask on. Would love to better understand why I have been waking up in the middle of the night. Initially, it was due to the feeling of not being able to breathe. However, I no longer have that sensation when I awake in the middle of the night, so I am a bit confused as to why it kept happening. Any insight would be greatly appreciated! FYI - I use mouth tape and have air pillows.

Since you are falling back to sleep, awakening one time seems normal, even good.

On the chart you posted, what time did you wake up?

BTW, SleepHQ.com gives members a better insight than OSCAR. A free account is easy to use, and you only have to post a link in this thread without worrying about formatting, taking a screen shot and using a picture host. The link redacts any personally identifying information.
